Notice of application for consent in pursuance of section 88 and Schedule 10

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 88 and Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995), that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Eldridge Pope and Co. Plc., for consent to discharge up to 11 cubic metres daily of treated sewage effluent to a tributary of the By Brook, at National Grid Reference ST 8562 7463, from The Crown Inn, Giddeahall, Chippenham. This will replace a historic discharge of crude and settled sewage from the same premises.
  Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Water Quality Consenting Team Leader, Environment Agency, South West Region, Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4YS, not later than 13th February 1998, quoting reference number 100528.
  A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the above address during office hours.
