Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan Macclesfield Borough Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that on 29th December 1997 Macclesfield Borough Council adopted these plan proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form part of the Development Plan for the Borough of Macclesfield. The Development Plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at the following locations during the following hours:   Macclesfield Service Centre, Town Hall: Monday to Thursday 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 8.45 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.;   Wilmslow Service Centre, South Drive: Monday to Thursday 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 8.45 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.;   Knutsford Service Centre, Toft Road: Monday to Thursday 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 8.45 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.;   Poynton Service Centre, 83 Park Lane: Monday to Friday 9.15 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.;   Bollington Library, Palmerston Street: Tuesday 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.;   Disley Library, Buxton Old Road: Monday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday 10. a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday 2 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.;   Handforth Library, The Green, Wilmslow Road: Monday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (closed for lunch 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.).   The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 7th January 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
