Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Mrs. C. Niddrie-Davies, of Milford Mill, Baschurch SY4 2JU, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from River Perry, at National Grid Reference SJ 4192 2110, at Milford Mill, Baschurch, Shropshire.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 102 cubic metres per hour, 2,440 cubic metres per day and 890,300 cubic metres per year between 1st January and 31st December each year. The water will be used for conservation/fish habitat creation with 100 per cent return to River Perry.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Environment Agency, Shrewsbury, between 20th January and 20th February 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB, before the end of the said period.
