The Camden (Prescribed Route) (No. 15) Traffic Order 1997 The Camden (Prescribed Route) (No. 16) Traffic Order 1997
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden, on 12th January
1998, made the above-mentioned Order, the details of which were previously published
in The London Gazette on 18th December 1997 under Ref. No. 613.
The general effect of the Orders will be to:
1. Return that part of the carriageway in Dukes Road, which lies between the south-eastern
kerb-line of Euston Road and a point 51.2 metres south-east of that point to two-way
traffic flow.
2. Introduce one-way working in Stukeley Street, between the junction with Drury
Lane and the south-western boundary wall of Nos. 7-11 Stukeley Street in a south-westerly
direction.
A copy of the Orders which will come into force on 19th January 1998 and 2nd March
1998 respectively, a plan and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders,
may be inspected/purchased during normal office hours at the Environment Reception,
Fifth Floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ.
Any person wanting to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision
contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof
have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may, within 6 weeks of the
date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
