LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY
The Haringey (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 9) Traffic Order 1994

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.   The general effect of the Order would be that waiting and loading restrictions apply in additional lengths of street, no longer apply in certain lengths of streets and that restricted hours are varied in certain lengths of streets. The streets concerned are:

Hampstead Lane Wolseley Road Ashley Road
Park Road N.8 Salisbury Road Tiverton Road
Langham Road Remington Road Stoneleigh Road
North Grove The Campsbourne Oakdale Road
Ashfield Road Park Road N.11
  The prohibitions referred to in the above paragraph do not apply in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a Police Constable in uniform or in certain circumstances, e.g. the picking up or setting down of passengers; the carrying out of statutory powers or duties; the taking in of petrol from road side petrol stations; to licenced street traders, etc. The usual exemption relating to vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ “Orange Badge” does apply.   A copy of the proposed Order and the Order of 1994 which this Order amends, a map indicating the effect of the Order and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 4.45 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the expiration of the period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at:   (i) Legal Service, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green N22 4TR;   (ii) Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, Hornsey N.8.   Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Legal Service, telephone no. 0181-849 5949.   Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of his or her objections and the grounds of objection to the Legal Service, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, London N22 4TR, quoting the reference LEG/SP/4/3365, within the aforementioned period of 21 days, ie by 5th February 1998.
