The City of Westminster (Doctor Parking Place) (No. 1) Order 1998 The City of Westminster (Free Parking Place) (Diplomatic Missions) (Revocation No. 1) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council, on 14th January 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.   The general effect of the Doctor Parking Place Order will be to:   (a) provide a doctors’ parking place in Binney Street;   (b) provide that the doctor parking place will be in operation between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on any day of the week, that the charge for the permits for the use of the parking place will be £85, and that the permit will be valid for 12 months.   The vehicles which may be left in the doctor parking place will be those displaying a valid permit issued by the Westminster City Council in connection with the medical practice located at Nos. 3-5 Weighhouse Street.   The general effect of the Diplomatic Missions Free Parking Place Order will be to revoke the diplomatic parking place in Binney Street.   The Parking Place Orders will come into force for the purpose’s of the placing of traffic signs etc. on 17th January 1998, and into force for all other purposes on 19th January 1998.   The Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Hyder Consulting Ltd., 29 Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DZ, until 25th February 1998.   Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to either of the Orders, may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 25th February 1998.
