Proposed Waiting Restrictions

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No.  ) Order 199, under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The general effect of the Order would be to relax certain restrictions and to introduce additional “yellow line” waiting restrictions at various locations in the Borough. A brief description of the proposals are detailed in the Schedule to this notice.   Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order, including a drawing showing the location of the waiting restrictions, are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.   Further information may be obtained from the Administration Department, telephone number 0181-871 7520.   Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Chief Executive and Director of Administration, Room 153, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU (quoting the referee DA/ALT/TMO262) by 12th February 1998. Battersea Church Road, S.W.11	(a) to revoke the existing restrictions on the north-west side, outside the entrance to St. Marys Church; (b) to alter the hours of the existing restrictions (from “At any time” to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mon. to Sat.) on the south-east side, adjacent to Nos. 1 to 11 Sunbury Lane.
Bartholomew Close/ Garrick Close/ Turenne Close, S.W.18	To introduce “At any time” restrictions at the junction of Bartholomew Close/Garrick Close and Garrick Close/Turenne Close and on the bend in Garrick Close.
Holmbury Court, S.W.17	To introduce “At any time” restrictions at the northern and southern entrance roads to the garages located at the rear of Holmbury Court.
Merton Road/Lebanon Gardens/Southfields Road, S.W.18	To introduce “At any time” restrictions on the north-west side of Merton Road at its junctions with Lebanon Gardens and Southfields Road.
