Notice of Deposit of Proposals for a Statutory Plan or for the Alteration or Replacement of a Statutory Plan Notice of Deposit of Proposals for a Waste Local Plan Nottinghamshire Waste Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that Nottinghamshire County Council have prepared the above plan. If, and when, these plan proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for Nottinghamshire. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting the area. Copies of the proposals and relevant documents are available for public inspection, free of charge, at the Department of Planning and Economic Development, 6 Wilford Lane, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7QX, during working hours and at the following additional deposit points, Arnold, Gedling Borough Council Planning Office, Civic Centre, Arnot Hill Park; Ashfield, Ashfield District Council Planning Office, Urban Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield; Beeston, Broxtowe Borough Council Planning Office, Foster Avenue, Beeston; Eastwood, Public Library, Wellington Place; East Retford, Denman Library, Churchgate; Kelham, Newark and Sherwood District Planning Office, Kelham Hall, Newark; Mansfield, Mansfield District Council Planning Office, Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road, South; Newark, Newark Public Library, Beaumond Gardens, Balderton Gate; Nottingham, Nottingham City Council Planning Office, Exchange Buildings, Smithy Row; West Bridgford, Rushcliffe Borough Council Planning Office, Rushcliffe Civic Centre, Pavilion Road and Worksop, Bassetlaw District Council Planning Office, Queen’s Buildings, Potter Street.   Reference copies of the plan and the Report of Public Participation have also been placed in all public libraries in the county.   Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals, should be sent in writing to the Director of Planning and Economic Development before 6th March 1998. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Only those objections made in writing which arrive at the address above within the 6 week period ending on 6th March 1998, will have the right to have their objections considered.   Further information is available from the Minerals and Waste Policy Team on 0115 977 4547/0115 977 2108.

Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals

  If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections Nottinghamshire County Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
