The Sutton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (At Junctions) (No.  ) (Amendment No.  ) Order 199   [Reference: WL114]

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The principal objective of this Order is to prevent dangerous and/or obstructive parking.   The general effect of this Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions at any time, in Gander Green Lane, Brasted Close, Dorset Road, the unnamed access road to Sutton Bowling Club, Warner Avenue and Watson Avenue, for the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.   Full details of the proposals are contained in the following documents: (a) the draft Order; (b) the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order; and (c) a plan showing the locations and extent of the proposals. These may be examined at: Civic Offices, St. Nicholas Way, Sutton; Environmental Services, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton; between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive.   Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Environmental Services Department on 0181-770 6446.   If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send a statement in writing, including the grounds for your objection and quoting Ref.    Brasted Close:       from a point 1.2 metres west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 22 and 24 Brasted Close to the western limit of Brasted Close. Gander Green Lane:       the north-east side:       (a) from a point 15 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Warner Avenue to a point 15 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Warner Avenue;       (b) from a point 15 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Watson Avenue to a point 15 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Watson Avenue. Dorset Road:       (a) the north side, from a point 10 metres west of the western kerb-line of the unnamed access road to Sutton Bowling Club to a point 16 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of the unnamed access road to Sutton Bowling Club;       (b) the south side, from a point 15.5 metres west of the eastern boundary of No. 20 Dorset Road to the eastern limit of Dorset Road. Unnamed Access Road to Sutton Bowling Club, from the northern kerb-line of Dorset Road, northwards for a distance of 10 metres. Warner Avenue, from the north-eastern kerb-line of Gander Green Lane, north-eastwards for a distance of 15 metres.
