The A5 Trunk Road (Watling Street, Pattishall, Northamptonshire) (50 m.p.h. Speed Limit) Order 1998

The Secretary of Stater for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on a length of the A5 Trunk Road known as Watling Street at Pattishall in Northamptonshire.   The effect of the Order is to impose a 50 miles per hour speed limit on the A5 Trunk Road between points 170 metres north-west of its junction with Fosters Booth Road and 360 metres south-east of the Banbury Lane/Butchers Lane junction, a distance of 770 metres.   A copy of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Northamptonshire County Council, County Hall, Northampton; South Northamptonshire Council, Springfields, Towcester, Northamptonshire; Pattishall Post Office, The Crescent, Pattishall, near Towcester, Northamptonshire; or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Network and Customer Services (Midland), Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, quoting Ref. 5067/28/3/TR11/01.
