Notice of adoption of proposals for a Unitary Development Plan
Unitary Development Plan for the Bradford District

On 23rd January 1998, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council adopted these plan proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form the development plan for the Bradford Metropolitan District. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at The Area Planning Office, Jacobs Well, Bradford; The Area Planning Office, Keighley Town Hall; The Area Planning Office, Shipley Town Hall and The District Planning Office, Ilkley Town Hall (closed 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.), on Mondays to Fridays inclusive between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. and at all public libraries within the Bradford Metropolitan District during normal opening hours.   The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 30th January 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
