THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY
The Haringey (Free Parking Places (Disabled Persons) (No.  ) Traffic Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
  The general effect of the Order will be to provide free parking places to allow disabled people to park closer to their houses in heavily congested roads. The roads affected are as follows:

   (i) Rutland Gardens N.4, Moselle Avenue N.22, Harringay Road N.15, Falcon Road N.15, Grasmere Road N.17, Belmont Road N.15, Finsbury Road N.22, Elsden Road N.17, Elizabeth Road N.15, Hawthorn Road N.8, Waltheof Gardens N.17, Effingham Road N.8, Manor Road N.17, Morley Avenue N.22, Lausanne Road N.8, Eleanor Road N.11, Shelbourne Road N.17, Tenterden Road N.17, Muswell Avenue N.10, Lancaster Road, Rusper Road N.22, Lancaster Road N.4, The Roundway N.17, Edison Road N.8, Albert Road N.22, Avondale Road N.15, Gladstone Avenue N.22, Coldfall Avenue N.10, Hewitt Road N.8, Norfolk Avenue N.13, Fortis Green N.10, Shelbourne Road N.17, Elm Grove N.8, Moorefield Road N.17, Fairbourne Road N.17, Frobisher Road N.8, Beresford Road N.8, Pemberton Road N.4, Rhodes Avenue N.22, Lothair Road South N.4, Yeatman Road N.6, Mount Pleasant Villas N.4, Northbrook Road N.22, Nelson Road N.8, Arnold Road N.15, Oakdale Road N.4, Havelock Road N.17, Woodside Road N.22, Rutland Gardens N.4, Woodstock Road N.4, Onslow Gardens N.10, Boreham Road N.22, Rivulet Road, N.17, Gladstone Avenue N.22, Barrenger Road N.10, Etherley Road N.15, Clyde Road N.22, Drysdale Road N.8, Church Crescent N.10, Lymington Avenue N.22, Northcott Avenue N.22, Glebe Road N.8, Cornwall Avenue N.22, Doncaster Gardens N.4, Queens Parade, Brownlow Road N.11, Northbrook Road N.22, Pellatt Grove N.22, Avondale Road N.15, Roslyn Road N.15, Station Crescent N.15, Lothair Road North N.4.
  (ii) At the same time the existing bay outside No. 32 Hawthorn Road shall be revoked.

  The above-mentioned requirements would not apply to anything done:

    (a) with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;
    (b) in accordance with any restrictions or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Metropolitan Police.

  A copy of the proposed Order and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Legal Service, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green N22 4TR, and Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, Hornsey N.8.

  Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of his or her objection and the grounds of objections to The Legal Service, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green N22 4TR, quoting Ref. LEG/TAD/4/4002, within the aforementioned period of 21 days, i.e. by 12th March 1998.
