The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Revised Layout of On-street Parking Places The Kensington and Chelsea (Parking Places) (High Tariff) (Amendment No. 18) Order 1998 The Kensington and Chelsea (Parking Places) (Pay and Display) (Amendment No. 6) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, on 20th February 1998, made the above Orders, the general effect of which would be to remove certain meter parking bays in the following streets and replace them with Pay and Display parking facilities. These changes will involve no loss of existing parking capacity:

Cornwall Gardens Derry Street De Vere Gardens Emperor’s Gate Grenville Place Kensington Court Kynance Place Launceston Place Lexham Gardens Prince of Wales Terrace Southwell Gardens Stanford Road Thackeray Street Victoria Road
  Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation for all purposes on 23rd February 1998, and all other relevant documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date the Orders were made in the Parking Management Office, Room 317, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, telephone 0171 361 2519.   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provisions contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
