The A45 Trunk Road (Packington Crossroads Junction Improvement) (Closure of Gaps in Central Reservation) Order 19

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The effect of the Order would be to close the gaps in the central reservation of the trunk road opposite its junctions with Birmingham Road B4104 and the entrance to Packington Estates.   A copy of the proposed Order together with a location plan and a statement explaining the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during office hours from 20th February 1998 until 17th April 1998 at the Highways Agency, Room 12/08, St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE; the Highways Agency, Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1BL; Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 19, Council House, Solihull, West Midlands B91 3QT; Warwickshire County Council, PO Box 43, Shire Hall, Warwick CV34 4SX, and at Meriden Library,The Cottage, The Green, Meriden CV7 7LN; or obtained by application to the Highways Agency at the address shown below.   Objections to the making of this Order should be sent to the Highways Agency, Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1BL, quoting reference 5108/41/7/4 and stating the grounds of objection, not later than 17th April 1998, or within 8 weeks of first publication of this notice is that period expires later.
