The Newham (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 29) Order 1998 Stopford Road and Terrace Road, London E.13

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Newham, on 2nd March 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The general effect of the Order will be to impose new restrictions on (A) waiting “at any time” (double yellow lines) by vehicles and (B) waiting by vehicles for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading the vehicle (no loading) between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive in:   (a)  Stopford Road       (i) the west side, between the party wall of Nos. 82 and 84 Stopford Road and its junction with Terrace Road;       (ii) the east side, between the party wall of Nos. 85 and 87 Stopford Road and its junction with Terrace Road;   (b)  Terrace Road       (i) the north-west side, between the party wall of Nos. 26 and 28 Terrace Road and the party wall of Nos. 5 and 7 Terrace Road;       (ii) the south-east side, between the party wall of Nos. 26 and 28 Terrace Road and the party wall of Nos. 14 and 16 Terrace Road.   A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 9th March 1998, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours until 6 weeks from the date on which the Order comes into force, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the offices of the Director of Environment, 25 Nelson Street, East Ham, London E6 4EH. Copies of the Order may be obtained from this address.   If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Act 1984, or that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
