Northamptonshire County Council (Various Roads, Long Buckby) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Northamptonshire County Council have made the above-named Order under section 1(1), 2(1)-(3) and 4(2) and Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting in the length of East Street, Market Place and Church Street, Long Buckby, as specified in the Schedule below.   A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan showing the lengths of road to which it relates and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at The Library, Station Road, Long Buckby, during their normal opening hours or at the offices of Northamptonshire County Council, Legal Services Section, County Hall, Northampton NN1 1DN, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 noon and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.   If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 5th March 1998, apply to the High Court for this purpose.   The Order will become effective on 9th March 1998. Schedule
No waiting at any time

East Street, north side, from a point 21 metres west of the centre-line of Holyoake Terrace for a distance of 39 metres in an easterly direction. Market Place, west side, from its junction with King Street to its junction with Church Street. Church Street, both sides, from its junction with High Street for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction. 5th March 1998.
