The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No.  ) Order 19    

Notice is hereby given that a local inquiry is to be held into the proposal by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act. If made, the Order would authorise the stopping-up of an area of all-purpose highway adjacent to 39 Barbrook Way, Bicknacre, Chelmsford, Essex, enabling the change of use from highway to private use for incorporation into garden area in accordance with the planning permission granted to Mr. and Mrs. A. Price by Chelmsford Borough Council under Ref. 96/CHL/1168.   The inquiry will be held at the Village Hall, Bicknacre, and commence at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 15th April 1998.   The Secretary of State hereby appoints Mr. P. G. Pinney, C.V.O., to hold the inquiry (Ref. DPI/02/6/5/30). B. J. Young, a Principal in the Government Office for Eastern Region (Planning and Transport).
