The A41 Trunk Road (Bicester Road, Aylesbury) (40 miles per hour speed limit) Order

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he made this Order on 24th February 1998, coming into force on 5th March 1998, on the A41 Trunk Road, in the district of Aylesbury Vale, in the county of Buckinghamshire. The notice of the proposal to make it (Ref. MSE 0/0/0/28/2/1) was published in issue no. S5720669, of The London Gazette, on 21st January 1998, and the effect of the Order is as described in that notice.   A copy of the made Order and of a plan illustrating the effect of the Order may be inspected during office hours at the offices of Buckinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury Vale District Council, Friars Square Offices, 4 Great Western Street, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and during opening hours at Aylesbury County Reference Library, County Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. They may also be obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Southern Network Customer Services, Area 5, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ, quoting the Ref. MSE 0/0/0/28/2/1.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks from 24th February 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or any provisions contained therein.   General enquiries relating to this notice may be made in writing to D.
