The Council of the London Borough of Southwark Notice of Proposal to make a Traffic Management Order
The London Borough of Southwark (Loading Bays) Traffic Order 199

Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1989, that the Council of Southwark, proposes to make the above-mentioned Order. The proposed Order would be made under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The general effect of the Order would be to introduce loading bays in the lengths of street as follows:   (a)  Trundle Street, the north side from a point 6 metres north-west of the north-west flank wall of No. 14 Trundle Street, for a distance of 12 metres in a north-westerly direction; and   (b)  Sanctuary Street, the west side, from a point 12 metres north-east of the north-east kerb-line of Lant Street, for a distance of 12 metres in a north-easterly direction.   A copy of the proposed Order, and further information may be obtained from Ron Shaw, Southwark Regeneration and Environment Department, Council Offices, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES, telephone 071-525 5381.   A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published in the Council Offices, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES.   Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Director of Regeneration and Environment, Council Offices, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES, quoting reference PR/CQ/T1.2-258, to arrive by no later than 12 noon on Wednesday, 1st April 1998.
