The London Borough of Lambeth (Prohibition of Stopping outside Schools) (No.   ) Order 199  

Notice is hereby given, that the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.   The general nature and effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from stopping or remaining at rest outside certain school entrances during term time on “school keep clear” markings placed in certain lengths of Ashmole Street, Atkins Road, Belmont Close, Belmont Street, Bonneville Gardens, Burgoyne Road, Calais Street, Cancell Road, Carnac Street, Cavendish Road, Caldwell Street, Clapham Crescent, Clarence Cerscent, Clarence Avenue, Crown Lane, Daysbrook Road, Dorset Road, Elmcourt Road, Gaskell Street, Gipsy Road, Hackford Road, Hartington Road, HaseCrigge Road, Harborough Road, Hartington Road, Heron Road, Hitherfield Road, Horsford Road, Kay Road, Kennington Oval, Kennington Park Gardens, Kenwyn Road, Kings Avenue, Lancaster Avenue, Langton Road, Lambert Road, Linton Grove, Mandrell Road, Minet Road, Mitcham Lane, New Park Road, Northanger Road, Overton Road, Palace Road, Park Hill, Polworth Road, Rosendale Road, Regent Road, Smedley Road, Stockwell Park Road, Stonhouse Street, Studley Road, Sudbourne Road, Telferscot Road, Thornton Road, Trent Road, Tulse Hill, Turney Road, Vauxhall Road, Warham Street, Wavertree Road, Woodland Hill, Woodmansterne Road and Wyvil Road.   If you require any further information, please contact the Council’s agents for this matter, Hyder Consulting Ltd, telephone number (0171) 316 6017.   A copy of the proposed Order and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays at the Council’s offices at Courtenay House, 9-15 New Park Road, London S.W.2, until the last day of the period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Order is made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.   All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing, and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made, and should be sent to the Council’s agents, Hyder Consulting Ltd., 28 Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DZ, quoting Ref.
