The A49 Trunk Road (Beeston Layby) (Proposed One-way Traffic) Order 199

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   If made as proposed the Order will prevent traffic entering or proceeding in the layby on the northbound side of the A49 Trunk Road south of Dean Bank, Beeston, in any direction other than northwards.   A copy of the proposed Order, a plan illustrating the proposals and a statement of reasons explaining the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during office hours at the office of Cheshire County Council, County Member Services, Room 273, County Hall, Chester CH1 5F; or may be obtained by application to the Director, The Highways Agency, Northern Customer Services Division, Room 705, Sunley Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE.   Any person desiring to object to the Secretary of State’s proposals to make this Order should send written statement of their objections and the grounds thereof to the Highways Agency at the address given above quoting NOD/O/A49/41/29/1/1.
