(A) Kew Road, Richmond (Reserved Bus Lane) Order 1998 (B) Richmond Waiting and Loading Restriction (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.  ) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames propose to make the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The effects of the proposed Orders will be to: (A) increase the operational times of the existing southbound bus lane situated in Kew Road, Richmond, north of Richmond Circus, from between 4 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays, to between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. throughout the week; (B) upgrade the operational times of the existing waiting restrictions throughout the length of the bus lane to conform to its operational times and to upgrade the existing loading restrictions throughout the bus lane to operate between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. throughout the week.   Copies of the proposed Orders and of the Council’s statements of reasons for proposing the Orders, together with plans showing the length of road affected can be inspected at the Civic Centre (Second Floor) 44 York Street, Twickenham, between 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays; and Central Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond,during opening hours.   If you wish to object to, or make representation on the proposals, you should write giving the grounds for your objection or representation, to the Head of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, to be received by 14th April 1998. 20th March 1998.
