The Croydon (East) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 1) Traffic Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Croydon made the above-mentioned Order under sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986.   The general effect of the Order will be to convert the hours of operation of the designated “shared use/pay and display” parking bays in Grant Road, East Croydon, from 8 hours to 4 hours.   A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 13th April 1998, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, “One Stop” Facility, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey.   Copies of the Order may be obtained from the Traffic and Highways Division, Public Services and Works Department, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon.   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application to the High Court.
