The A205 Trunk Road (Greenwich) Red Route (Side Roads) Traffic Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that Greenwich Council, hereinafter called the Council, on 23rd April 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The general effect of the Order will be to continue in force indefinitely, with minor changes, the provisions of the A205 Trunk Road (Greenwich) Red Route (Side Roads) Experimental Traffic Order 1998, on short lengths of the side roads leading from the A205 Trunk Road in the London Borough of Greenwich where waiting and loading facilities will be controlled.   Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 1st May 1998, and the Order being made permanent, together with plans showing the locations and effects of the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Development Services, Greenwich Council, Peggy Middleton House, 50 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich SE18 6HQ, and copies of the Order may be obtained from that address.   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
