LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING
The Ealing (Prescribed Routes) (No. ) Traffic Order 199
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, hereinafter
called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and
the Road Traffic Act 1991.
The general effect of the Order would be to impose one-way working in the roads
shown in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice and in the direction shown in column
2 of that Schedule.
Exemption would be provided in the Order in respect of anything done:
(a) with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;
(b) in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs
placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Metropolitan Police.
A copy of the proposed Order, of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing
to make the Order and plans showing the locations and effects of the Order, may be
inspected during a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published,
during normal office hours, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at BRETS Reception, 24
Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2BP.
Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order, or make other representation,
should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof
or their representation to the Engineering Services Manager, BRETS, 24 Uxbridge Road,
Ealing W5 2BP, within 21 days of the date on which this notice is published.
