The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Cambridgeshire) (No. 4) Order 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that on the application of South Cambridgeshire District Council he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Cambridgeshire) (No. 4) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of an area of highway at Magna Close, Great Abington, Cambridgeshire, to enable development consisting of the provision for 3 residents parking bays and stone track to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to and by South Cambridgeshire District Council, on 7th February 1997 under Ref. S/1685/96/F.   Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for Eastern Region (Planning and Transport), Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL (quoting Ref. GT/W0530/35/1/10) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of South Cambridgeshire District Council, 9-11 Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 1PB.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 15th May 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
