Notice is hereby given that G. D. Grindey, an Inspector instructed by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, will attend at The Beambridge Hotel, Sampford Arundel, near Wellington, Somerset, on 23rd June and 24th June 1998, at 10 a.m., to hold a Public Local Inquiry into The Black Down and Sampford Commons (Devon and Somerset) Nature Conservation Order 1997, made by the Secretary of State on 30th October 1997, under section 29 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. L. Smith, a Grade 7 in the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, authorised by the Secretary of State to sign in that behalf.
