Stopping-up of an Area of Highway, at Foundry Lane, Chippenham, in the County of Wiltshire

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Wiltshire) (No. 3) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of an area of highway, at Foundry Lane, Chippenham, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule.
  Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West (Transport), 5th Floor, The Pithay, Bristol BS1 2PB, (quoting reference GOSW(T)5079/35/1/111) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the Main Reception of North Wiltshire District Council, Monkton Park, Chippenham, Wiltshire. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the power of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 2nd July 2998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
