Notice of publication of additional pre-inquiry change to the deposited Plan

Notice is hereby given that Lancaster City Council placed the above Local Plan on deposit on 17th October 1997. On 24th April 1998, in response to objections received, the Council published proposed pre-inquiry changes. The Council is now proposing a further pre-inquiry change in relation to policy 89 on affordable housing.   Copies of the additional proposed change are available for public inspection at Palatine Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster, and at Morecambe Town Hall, Marine Road, Morecambe, free of charge, on Monday to Friday between 8.45 a.m. and 5.15 p.m.   Objections to, and representations in respect of, this proposed change should be sent in writing, preferably on the form available at the above addresses, to W. V. Crumley, Chief Planning Officer, Palatine Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster, before 5.15 p.m. on Friday, 4th September 1998.   Only objections and representations in respect of this pre-inquiry change can be considered at this stage.   Further information is available from the Planning and Building Control Service, Palatine Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster.
