The Stopping-up of Highways (Station Terrace, Penclawdd, Swansea) Order 199
The Secretary of State for Wales hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping-up of the area of highway described in the schedule to this notice. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable development at land off Station Terrace, Penclawdd, Swansea, consisting of the erection of 23 No. dwellings and 6 No. flats to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted on 5th September 1995 under reference number 94/1429. The Order will cease to have effect upon the cessation of the planning permission. During the 28 days from 24th August 1998, copies of the draft Order and the deposited plan may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours, at The County Hall, Oystermouth Road, Swansea SA1 3SN, or may be obtained, free of charge, from the address below, quoting the Welsh Office reference below. Within the above-mentioned period of 28 days any person may, by notice to the Welsh Office Highways Directorate, Roads Administration Division 3, Crown Buildings, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF1 3NQ, (quoting reference ZC510-5-84-2) object to the making of this Order. Description of the length of highway to be stopped-up under this Order
The highway to be stopped-up is in Penclawdd, Swansea. It is shown by zebra hatching on the deposited plan and comprises an area of highway which extends from a point 54 metres from the northern boundary of Station Terrace in a generally south-easterly direction for a distance of 34 metres.
