Notice of Proposed Modifications to Proposals for a Local Plan

On 24th August 1998, the Borough of Poole, adopted these plan proposals with modifications. The Secretary of State was satisfied that the necessary modifications had been made to comply with his direction to the authority to modify the proposals.   Copies of the adopted proposals and of the Secretary of State’s notification that he was satisfied with the modifications made to comply with his direction are available for inspection at Economic Development and Strategic Planning Services, Borough of Poole, Civic Centre, Poole, Dorset BH15 2RU, from 1st September 1998 to 13th October 1998, between 8.30 a.m. and 5.15 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays and between 8.30 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Fridays and at Poole Central Library and local libraries within Poole, during opening times.   The proposals became operative on their adoption, but any person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulations made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 1st September 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
