Notice of Deposit for the Alteration of a Local Plan

West Wiltshire District Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that West Wiltshire District Council have prepared proposals for the alteration of the above plan. If, and when, these plan proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for West Wiltshire.   The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection at the District Council Offices, Bradley Road, Trowbridge, free of charge, on Mondays to Thursdays, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. and Fridays between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Copies of the proposals are also available at the Bradford-on-Avon, Melksham, Trowbridge, Westbury and Warminster libraries and the mobile library during normal opening hours.   Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals should be sent in writing to Martin Mallinson, Chief Planning Officer, before 27th November 1998. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.   Only those objections made in writing which arrive at the address above within the 6 weeks period ending on 27th November 1998, will have a right to have their objections considered.   Further information is available from the Planning Unit, West Wiltshire District Council, Bradley Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire BA14 0RD.
