BURIAL ACT 1853
Notice is hereby given that representations have been made to Her Majesty in Council by the Secretary of State for the Home Department, that burials should be discontinued in the following places of burial, and that Her Majesty in Council was pleased on 12th October 1999 to order that such representations be taken into consideration by a Committee of the Privy Council on 1st December 1999: St. Michael’s Churchyard, Two Mile Hill, Bristol; St. John’s Churchyard, Dipton, County Durham; All Saints Churchyard, Waldershare, Dover, Kent; The Churchyard of St. Mary the Virgin, Chessington, Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames; St. Mary’s Churchyard, Walton-le-Wolds, Loughborough, Leicestershire; The Churchyard of St. Mary the Virgin, Iffley, Oxfordshire; St. Mary’s Churchyard, Wedmore, Somerset; The remainder of St. James’ Churchyard, Audley, Staffordshire; St. Paul’s Churchyard, Coven, Staffordshire.
