BURIAL ACT 1853

Notice is hereby given that representations have been made to Her Majesty in Council by the Secretary of State for the Home Department that burials should be discontinued in the following places of burial and that Her Majesty in Council was pleased on 14th December 1999 to order that such representations be taken into account by a Committee of the Privy Council on 25th January 2000: The Churchyard of St. John the Baptist, Coventry; the Churchyard of St. Peter and St. Paul, Burton Pidsea, East Riding of Yorkshire; and the extension to St. Katherine’s Churchyard, Canvey Island, Essex.
