BURIAL ACT 1853
Notice is hereby given that representations have been made to Her Majesty in Council by the Secretary of State for the Home Department that burials should be discontinued in the following places of burial and that Her Majesty in Council was pleased on 8th February 2000, to order that such representations be taken into account by a Committee of the Privy Council on 29th March 2000: The Churchyard of St. James, Barlborough, Chesterfield; St. Mary’s Churchyard, Bletchley, Milton Keynes; St. Peter’s Churchyard, Clayworth, Nottinghamshire; The remainder of St. Goran Churchyard, Gorran, St. Austell, Cornwall; St. James’s Churchyard, North Cray, London Borough of Bexley; St. Mary’s Churchyard, Penwortham, Preston, Lancashire; The Churchyard of St. Mary Magdalen, Ripley, Surrey; St. Mary’s Churchyard, South Milford, North Yorkshire.
