TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up of an area of highway at the corner of Cambridge Road and Clarence Road, Horsham in the county of West Sussex. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Peter N Dickin on behalf of Mr M Patel by Horsham District Council on 5 January 2001 under Ref HU/378/00. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing 20 July 2001 at the offices of Horsham District Council, Park House, North Street, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 1RL, and may be obtained free of charge from the Head of Transport (East), Government Office for the South East (quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/WSUS/013) at the address below. During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/WSUS/013 and addressing their objection to the Head of Transport (East), Government Office for the South East, First Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people who may be affected by it.
