TRANSPORT AND WORKS ACT 1992

The Secretary of State for Transport gives notice pursuant to section 14(1)(b), of the Transport and Works Act 1992 (“the Act”), that he has determined under section 13(1) of the Act to make with modifications the East Midlands Parkway Station (Land Acquisition) Order (“the Order”). The Order was applied for by Midland Mainline Limited, Midland House, Nelson Street, Derby DE1 2SA (“MML”). The Order will authorise MML to compulsorily acquire land and rights over land required for the provision of the proposed East Midlands Parkway Station at Ratcliffe-on-Soar, near Nottingham. Copies of the letter setting out the full terms of the Secretary of State’s decision may be obtained from the Transport and Works Act Orders Unit, Department for Transport, Zone 9/09 Southside, 105 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6DT. Copies of the Order (once made) may be obtained from the Stationery Office Limited or through booksellers.
