THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC PENSION SCHEME

THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925, SECTION 27

Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is hereby given that Thermo Fisher Scientific Pension Scheme (previously known as the Thermo Electron Pension Scheme) (the “Scheme”) is in the process of being wound up and as part of this process all members’ and beneficiaries benefits will be secured or transferred to alternative pension arrangements.

The Trustees of the Scheme wish to trace any persons who were employed by Thermo Electron Weighing & Inspection Limited or any associated companies and remain members of the Scheme. Anyone who believes that he or she is a member of the Scheme but has not already been contaced by the Trustees about the winding-up, or anyone who believes they have any other interest, claim or entitlement in relation to the Scheme but has not already been contacted by the Trustees about the winding-up, should write and provide details of their membership, interest, claim or entitlement to the Trustees of the Thermo Fisher Scientific Pension Scheme, c/o Buck Consultants Ltd, 17 Ainslie Place, Edinburgh EH3 6AU, or e-mail edin.admin2@buckconsultants.com.

Details must be sent within two months of the date of the publication of this notice. After the expiry of the two month period the Scheme shall be wound up and the Trustees of the Scheme will have regard only to claims of which they have prior written notice and will not be liable in respect of any person whose claim has not been notified to them in writing within two months of the date of publication of this notice.
