GAINSBOROUGH – VARIOUS FOOTPATHS (CYCLE TRACKS) ORDER 2011

The above named Order made on 20 January 2011 is about to be submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, or to be confirmed as an unopposed Order by Lincolnshire County Council.

The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modification, will be to convert to shared cycle track / footpath the following lengths of footpath in Gainsborough:

  • 1 That length of Public Footpath No.1 that runs from its junction with Bowling Green Road generally northwards along the east bank of the River Trent to its junction with Floss Mill Lane.
  • 2 That length of Footpath that runs from Corringham Road southwards to Highfield Close.
  • 3 That length of footpath that runs from Station Approach eastwards to the existing Cycle Track at Pingle Hill.

A copy of the Order and the map contained in it may be inspected, free of charge, at the address given below (Traffic Orders Section) during normal office hours.

Any representation or objection with respect to the Order must be sent in writing to the undersigned (FAO D Clark, Traffic Orders) before 22 February 2011 and should state the grounds on which it is made.

If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Lincolnshire County Council may, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, confirm the Order as unopposed. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State any representations or objections received and not withdrawn will also be submitted with the Order.
