The government has published a summary of responses to the call for evidence on collective redundancy for employers facing insolvency.

'Insolvency presents business and government with a number of challenges. Competing interests are often delicately balanced during attempts to save the business. The necessity of making some redundancies in order to save the business and secure the remaining jobs has a huge impact on individuals as well as on the remaining business.'
