A website and claim calculator have been created by RPS Assist to assist employees who have been made redundant through insolvency.

The aim of the website is to make the redundancy claims process clearer by bringing together the resources needed in one place.

The claim calculator gives an estimate of potential tax and jobseeker’s deductions, and on inputting your age, years of service, arrears of wages and outstanding holidays, you receive an estimate, including a breakdown of the total.

Insolvency specialist Leonard James, founder of RPS Assist, said:

“Insolvency has a huge impact on employees who are made redundant. We’ve seen that the information regarding the redundancy claim process can be very vague and we’re here to make the process of claiming redundancy payments clearer.”
