What is this notice?
- An advertisment of legal proof that a Scottish bank has certification to issue and to have in circulation, exclusive of an amount equal to the monthly average amount of the gold and silver coin held by such banker as herein provided
- Advertising the power of the Bank of England to call in transferred currency notes on exchanging them for bank notes of the same value
