The Gazette shortlisted for prestigious award
The Gazette has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Insolvency & Rescue Awards 2014, an event designed to celebrate the achievements of the British insolvency industry.
Taking place in London on 1 October 2014, The Gazette is competing for the “Best use of Technology” award. This category highlights how technology has been used to create a competitive advantage for the business or firm in question, whilst demonstrating evidence of effective uptake by stakeholders.
As the UK’s official public record, established in 1665, this year The Gazette was transformed for the digital age, leading to enhanced and enriched insolvency data. The revolutionary new platform, which allows insolvency professionals to manually and visually check the provenance trail of any published insolvency notice, it helps improve both accuracy and reliability.
In addition to these major benefits, The Gazette’s bespoke Datafeed subscription service is a vital tool for both insolvency professionals and creditors, helping them to save time and money whilst reducing re-keying errors and increasing business generation leads.
Janine Eves, The Gazette’s Business and Operations Director, says: “We are both delighted and honoured to be shortlisted for this award. The culmination of over 2 years of development, The Gazette’s new platform is something we can all be very proud of. To be shortlisted for the Best use of Technology is recognition of all of the hard work my team has put in to revolutionise such an important public record, and we hope the judges agree.”
