The Queen has been pleased by Warrant bearing the date 20 December 2016 to direct the issue of a Commission under the Great Seal appointed to be kept and made use of in place of the Great Seal of Scotland appointing Richard Walter John Montagu Douglas Scott, Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry, KBE, FRSE, DL to be Lord-Lieutenant for the Area of the Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale.
