The Queen has been pleased by Warrant bearing the date 12 September 2017 to direct the issue of a Commission under the Great Seal appointed to be kept and made use of in place of the Great Seal of Scotland appointing The Right Honourable John Archibald Sinclair, The Viscount Thurso of Ulbster, PC to be Lord-Lieutenant for the Area of Caithness.
