The Department of Health has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 6) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020", (S.R. 2020 No. 204) which came into operation at 7.00 pm on 25 September 2020.

This rule makes changes to the places where restrictions will apply. Outdoor venues where intoxicating liquor may be consumed are now subject to regulations 4A, 4B, and 4C, and places of worship are excluded.
