The Department of Health has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (Amendment No. 20) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020", (S.R. 2020 No. 244) which came into operation at 11.45 am on 9th November 2020.

This rule amends the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 (“the principal Regulations”).

A person listed in regulation 3(9) of the principal Regulations is not exempt from the requirement to comply with regulation 3 of those regulations if that person has arrived in Northern Ireland from Denmark or has, within the period beginning with the 14th day before the date of their arrival in Northern Ireland, departed from or transited through Denmark.
