THE PUBLIC HEALTH ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1967

The Department of Health has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (Amendment No. 19) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020", (S.R. 2020 No. 243) which came into operation at 4.00 am on 7th November 2020.

This rule amends the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 (“the principal Regulations”) to remove exemptions from the requirement to self-isolate for people who have arrived in Northern Ireland from Denmark or who have arrived in Northern Ireland from elsewhere and, during the 14 days preceding their arrival in Northern Ireland, have been in or transited through Denmark (“Denmark arrivals”) and to require people residing at the same address as Denmark arrivals to self-isolate.
