The Queen having been pleased to approve that Major General Patrick Claude Marriott CB CBE DL be appointed Vice Lord-Lieutenant for the Area of Sutherland to act for Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during her absence from the area, sickness or inability to act, a Commission in his favour bearing the date 19 October 2021 has been signed by the Lord-Lieutenant.
