THE PETROLEUM ACT 1998
CAISTER-MURDOCH SYSTEM III INSTALLATIONS AND ASSOCIATED PIPELINES DECOMMISSIONING PROGRAMMES (CDP2)
Chrysaor Production (U.K.) Limited (a Harbour Energy company) has submitted, for the consideration of the Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, the draft Decommissioning Programmes for the Caister-Murdoch System III Installations and Associated Pipelines, in accordance with the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1998. It is a requirement of the Act that interested parties be consulted on such decommissioning proposals.
The items/facilities covered by the Decommissioning Programmes are:
The Caister-Murdoch System III infrastructure lies 149 kilometres to 187 kilometres east of Easington, UK with the surface installations in Blocks 44/21a (Boulton BM), 44/19b (Katy KT), 44/18b & 44/23b (Kelvin TM) and 44/17b (Munro MH) and subsea installations in Blocks 44/22a (Murdoch K KM), 44/17c (McAdam MM), 44/17a (Hawksley EM), 44/22b (Boulton H HM) and 44/22b (Watt QM). The facilities include four infield satellite platforms (Boulton BM, Katy KT, Kelvin TM, Munro MH), each comprising a topside and a jacket structure; five subsea installations (Boulton HM, Hawksley EM, McAdam MM, Murdoch K.KM and Watt QM) and 19 pipelines (seven gas, seven methanol and five umbilicals).

Representations regarding the Caister-Murdoch System III Installations and Associated Pipelines Decommissioning Programmes should be submitted in writing to the person named at the address below, or via email to DecommissioningDCMailbox@chrysaor.com, by the consultation closing date of 8 April 2022. Submissions should state the grounds upon which any representations are being made.
